Bi-Annual Meet 2025 And New Year Celebrations
Pathankot: Under the leadership of President Rajesh Bajaj, the Pathankot Computer Dealers Association (PCDA) organized the State-Level Annual Meet 2025 to celebrate the successful completion of 25 years of the association.
The event was graced by Mr. Gurpreet Singh Sunny, Founder and Chairman of the Punjab Association of Computer Traders (PACT), as the Chief Guest. Mr. Gurpreet Singh, State Vice President of the Federation of All India Information Technology Associations (FAIITA), attended as a special guest. The association members warmly welcomed the dignitaries by garlanding them and presenting bouquets.
Celebrating 25 Years of Unity
On this occasion, Secretary Sanjay Nanda highlighted the various works undertaken by the association. Chairman Ashwani Gupta spoke about the successful 25-year journey of the association, describing how the hard work and unity of all members turned it “from a small sapling into a massive tree.” The guests highly appreciated the efforts of the group members.
During the Annual Meet, discussions were held regarding the betterment of traders associated with this business. The problems currently faced by traders were also presented before the Punjab office bearers.
President Rajesh Bajaj stated that over the last 25 years, the association has resolved every difficulty through unity and has stood shoulder-to-shoulder with every trader in this trade. He emphasized that throughout his tenure as President, he has always strived to work for the betterment of the members and to bring all traders onto a single platform—an objective he has successfully achieved with the support of the group.
Mr. Bajaj noted that traders are facing significant challenges today, particularly due to the impact of online sales. He stressed that to face these difficulties and protect the business, it is essential for associations across Punjab and the country to unite. This was the primary reason for inviting the state office bearers, so they could provide information and rally the Pathankot traders.
Future Initiatives & E-Commerce Platform
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gurpreet Singh Sunny (PACT Founder & Chairman) and Mr. Gurpreet Singh (FAIITA State VP) praised the Pathankot Association for strengthening their organization over these 25 years.
They remarked that there is a need to upgrade businesses today. Observing how the trade is being affected by online sales and other issues, they emphasized the need to connect traders to secure their future. To counter the impact of online giants, the Punjab Association is preparing its own E-commerce platform. All traders of the trade will be connected to this platform, and they appealed to the Pathankot traders to join as well.
They assured the members that the Punjab Association always stands with the Pathankot traders to resolve any business-related problems. They also commended the PCDA for organizing such a grand event and for holding regular seminars to keep members updated on new departmental orders. They promised their continued support in all endeavours and problem resolutions.
